November 17, 2016 Lawton Celtic Club

We gathered, four of us, Loretta and Charles Donaghe, Robbi Dyer and myself at the Center for Creative Living at 2PM.

We spent our time together discussing the marvelous legends of some of the Celtic saints and how to gather our genealogy into a really wonderful booklet for our individual family histories.

Next month, we have decided on a “field trip.” Loretta has arranged a visit to the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center at 1000 Chisholm Train Parkway, Duncan, on December 15^th at 2PM. The Center is going to present their program on the Celts on the Chisholm Train, free to us, at that time. We are so grateful to Loretta AND to the Heritage Center for their generosity.

We will gather at Charles and Loretta's house at 4520 Willowridge in Duncan for “tea and cookies” between 1PM and 1:15PM and go from there to the Center as a group.

I hope everybody can be there as this is such a great opportunity to see some of our wonderful Oklahoma Celtic history – a great Christmas present if you ask me:)
